Is not going to the doctor. I am a very private person and I hate seeing the doctor–especially if you have to get naked in order to be examined. This is my whole reason for finding a woman doctor. For some reason having a guy check out your privates (other than your husband.) just doesn’t sit well with me. (Not like having a woman do it is any better, but at least she kind of knows what to expect.)
Anyway, I did go to the doctor on Friday. They confirmed that I am pregnant. (Really? Wow, I wasn’t sure.) I discussed some stuff with my doctor and then came the most fun part of the whole appointment. The pelvic exam. Sigh. I cannot tell you how much I hate this. Not that anyone really likes it–at least from what I know, but I really detest it. I won’t go into details, because I really hate it, but the doctor’s conclusion was:
1. I look/feel like I am further along than I am. (I’m not.)
2. I might have a fibroid.
3. I might be having twins.
This is quite an interesting development. I have an ultrasound in Feb. to determine which it is. David thinks it is twins. I don’t know. I’m thinking that since twins don’t run in the family, it is a fibroid, which isn’t serious, but something about 50% of women get when they are pregnant. I will keep you posted.
That is all my news for right now. For any family that might be reading, we sent out your gifts on Monday. (Can you believe how bad that is?) Sorry! I hope you enjoy them anyway!
