OK, let’s see how this works! I’ve never used the dictation feature on my Macintosh to write a blog post before, but you know what? A guy’s fingers, arms, hands, and let’s face it, his brain are getting a little tired at this age! So I’m back, in a new and improved digital way!

I know this will come as no shock looking back over the years that I’ve said I am going to write more, but I’m gonna try this new way of inputting because, honestly, it just sucks to type, and I have decided to embrace my AI overlords and welcome them into my world. Let’s see how it goes.

Let’s face it. I don’t know if this is a permanent thing for me as far as writing on a blog or not. I think I hesitiated doing this on social media because of the backlash that I would invariably get because, you know, people. But I think this will be better for me. It allows me to curate the negativity by closing the gate on people that I really don’t want to interact with. I don’t know that I’ll do that very often, but it’s nice to know it’s there because at the end of the day, this really is just a vehicle for me to get my ideas out somewhere for my own health.

I have always wanted to try journaling, but I have a hard time because I struggle physically with even the simple things like typing. I don’t even know the last time I’ve truly written with a pen outside of my jobs and my penmanship leaves much to be desired.

So, I’m back here speaking to the wind again trying to make it a point and put my thoughts down on this blog routinely. I don’t expect any more than that from this, I think it will be a good exercise to get out of my head a little bit.

So that’s it. Hey, I’m back. Welcome back, Da, I mean, Carter.
