This is what happens when we tell Emily “no”. She understands the word no but has decided that since it doesn’t fit into her plans, she will repeatedly enlighten us to the error of our ways. She is determined to make us understand her plight and disdain with the word no at any cost. I can say without a doubt this child is the most strong willed I have ever seen. She is destined to be a great communicator or a great dictator and the outcome is very much in our hands.

The last few nights Emily has decided that 2 A.M. is the perfect time to get up and catch up on new Hulu videos. We made the mistake of watching Benji with her Saturday night and she is determined to do it again.

We are determined to never do that again.

The girl knows what she wants and is not above keeping the whole house awake to get it. She fussed at us last night for almost an hour before she gave up the fight. Elizabeth retreated to the piano studio couch at some point in the middle of the night, which left Emily outnumbered and yelling at us is vain.

Too bad for her she has parents that are just as determined to not raise a spoiled brat.

Seems like just yesterday we were actually encouraging her to speak.
