These three letters are the most useless letters in the government.  I should have known that I wouldn’t be able to finish school today.

WHAT WAS I THINKING?

I get so irritated thinking about the whole fiasco.  If I ran a business like this, I would be OUT of business.  But, the government requires all this stuff, so guess what?  We get to put up with the idiocy of the way they do things.  I cannot believe how ridiculously inefficient they are.  And they can get away with it–because they make the rules and we have to abide by them.  I am paying these people to run things like this–and I can’t even effect change.  Yeah, yeah, I can vote.  Whoopie!  I vote.  Believe me, I vote for things as small as city council.  I vote for the president.  I vote for other elected officials.  I am tired of government.  I am tired of the way they do things.  They are so used to having our money and wasting it, that they don’t even have any reason to try to improve things.

I was nice, though.  I didn’t act like an ass.  Because really, how is that going to help?  I was a good example for my kids, but also let them know that this is really not the way to run a business.  I was so completely frustrated and irritated standing in line thinking about it.

I had to stand in line just to get a number!  Not a short line.  I was in line 20 minutes.  Then I get a number and get to sit and wait for the number to be called–for God knows how long.  They have 14 stations.  There were 4 people working at 4 of those stations!  Unbelievable!  I won’t even complain about how long I sat there, but I talked to a couple of other people who had been there for 3 hours.  To get an address change on a license!
